Inventory & Pricing Analyst

Are you excellent with data and know a lot about cars – specifically the aftermarket industry? Then, please apply for this Inventory & Pricing Analyst opportunity at Motovicity Distribution, Inc. – a growing Madison Heights, MI based aftermarket distributor. This is NOT an IT-type position, but rather a position for someone who is good with numbers, good with the computer and GREAT at keeping data/information organized and up-to-date/correct without fail. This position will be responsible for: • Coordinating and following up with 100+ manufacturers to gather price updates and part number files. Loading the data files to multiple systems and ensuring the accuracy of the data between all systems. • Creating reports and track inventory levels and sales trends and recommend inventory adjustments. • Implementing processes/input information so data relating to new parts, new vendors, current sales, web specials, etc. are reflected correctly on all systems. • Providing purchasing back-up to ensure that inventory levels remain at appropriate levels. Candidates must possess: • Exceptional data manipulation, analysis and maintenance skills and experience REQUIRED (using Excel, Access, Crystal Reports, SQL or some other related database program). • Must have exceptional Microsoft Office Suite skills including Outlook, Word and Excel. • Automotive parts and industry knowledge required. Aftermarket industry knowledge a plus. • Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills.
