Automotive Professionals Earn SEMA Self-Adhesive Products Specialist Credentials

The SEMA Self-Adhesive Products Exam (Z6) was developed by a panel of industry experts familiar with the specific test topic. The Z6 exam was introduced in November 2008. The test is job-related and designed to measure a candidate’s competency and real-world skills.

SEMA Installer Certification Program also includes five other exam modules: Electric Sunroofs (Z1); Body Exterior Components (Z2); Leather Interiors (Z3);  Roof Treatments (Z4); and Custom Wheels & Tires (Z5). 

All six SEMA exams are administered twice yearly, in May and November.

To receive credentials and earn the SEMA Certified Self-Adhesive Products Specialist designation, an individual must meet the work experience requirement and pass SEMA Z6 exam.
