Membership Staff

SEMA offers its 6,600-plus member companies a variety of business tools and resources to help them succeed and prosper. The SEMA Membership Department is here to help connect members with all of the Association's programs and services. Whether you are a manufacturer, retailer, jobber, distributor, or manufacturer's rep, SEMA is here to guide you to resources and programs that can help grow your business, save you money through group buying power, protect your business and network with other key businesses in the industry.

Research Staff

SEMA's Market Research Department continuously engages in research activities in order to provide SEMA-member companies with specialty-equipment industry information that can be used to make better business decisions. The research team regularly conducts studies that include enthusiasts as well as the general consumer market, and sometimes involve focus groups. Some of the reports produced include the Annual Market Report, niche-specific reports like the Light Truck Report and monthly studies such as the Consumer Demand Index (CDI).

The Education Staff oversees all the association's industry education and training efforts and all programming for our educator partners and their students. The staff is responsible for working with industry leaders and staff to develop the content for national, regional and local conferences hosted or sponsored by SEMA. Primary activities include the development and hosting of the annual SEMA Show’s Education Days program, which consists of over 50 seminars over the four-day tradeshow.
