SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women, better known as “High Gear,” is now available for auction to raise money for the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund.

SEMA announced the winners of the New Products Showcase Awards on the opening day of the 2012 SEMA Show. Presented during the Show’s New Products Awards Breakfast, the awards spotlight innovative and cutting-edge automotive products either on the market or about to be introduced.

More than 150 companies were recognized by an international panel of automotive experts participating in the 2012 SEMA Show Global Media Awards Program. Marking the ninth consecutive year, the program consists of a prestigious group of international journalists serving as judges.

The 2012 Shine Award was presented to Dave and Karen Leisinger of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, for their ’71 Chevrolet Camaro named "ProfeSSor."

Six SEMA members were awarded the Export Achievement Award by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

David Eckert, with his ’69 Ford Mach 40, won Best of Show at the 10th annual Gran Turismo Awards during the 2012 SEMA Show at the Palms Casino and Resort's Rain nightclub in Las Vegas.
