SEMA Measuring Sessions

A measuring session for the ’14 Ford Transit Connect will be held August 27, 2013, at the Ford Conference and Event Center in Dearborn, Michigan.

SEMA-member manufacturers are invited to measure the ’13 Ford Ranger T6 at Dearborn, Michigan-based Link Engineering, during a rescheduled Midwest session taking place June 6, from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

SEMA-member manufacturers are invited to measure the ’13 Ford Ranger T6—a global one-ton pickup that is popular worldwide but not sold in the United States or Canada.

Thirty-three manufacturers—the best attendance in several years—showed up to measure the redesigned ’14 Toyota Tundra during last week's SEMA Measuring Session at the Toyota Warehouse in Gardena, California. With three different models on display—the all-new premium 1794 Edition, SR5 and Limited—manufacturers extracted the specs they needed to develop aftermarket parts for the pickup that is sure to be a hit among enthusiasts.



The next SEMA Measuring Session will feature ’14 GM next-generation fullsize light-duty trucks, Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at the Warren Technical Center in Warren, Michigan.

SEMA, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, has imported a ’13 Ford Ranger T-6 to the United States for SEMA members to measure. This hard-to-access vehicle is popular worldwide, but not sold in the United States.  

Some say Jay Rogers is a modern-day Henry Ford who will dramatically change the landscape of the car industry. His cars are designed by an open-source community that works together to develop vehicles and build them locally—with customer participation.
