SEMA Challenges Auto Enthusiasts to Predict This Year's Hottest Vehicles at the 2010 SEMA Show

In just a few weeks, the SEMA Show will roll into Las Vegas and exhibitors will introduce their latest innovations including thousands of new products and customized vehicles. But this year, the trade-only event is offering auto enthusiasts an opportunity to test their auto savvy against SEMA Show exhibitors. Consumers are challenged to make their best predictions on which vehicle models will emerge as the industry's hottest vehicles by winning the inaugural SEMA Award.

New Law Supports Lending, Tax Breaks for SEMA Member Companies

SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association, applauded the signing into law of the “Small Business Jobs and Credit Act” (H.R. 5297), including $12 billion in tax incentives for small businesses and creating a $30 billion resource to activate greater lending to small businesses by community banks.

New Industry Award to Debut at the 2010 SEMA Show

SEMA Show exhibitors will choose three outstanding vehicles as the winners of an all-new award, simply called the “SEMA Award.” Presented in three categories – “Hottest Car,” “Hottest Truck,” and “Hottest 4x4-SUV” – the SEMA Award marks the first time ever that the “exhibitor’s choice” will be tallied, recognizing the year’s top trend-setting vehicles.

Massachusetts Governor Signs Into Law SEMA Model Hobby Car Registration and Titling Bill

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick signed into law a version of SEMA model legislation to create a vehicle registration classification for street rods, custom vehicles, replicas and specially constructed vehicles.
