Along with a brief history of the credit, the session will inform participants about what qualifies as R&D in the eyes of the IRS, how to capture the costs associated with R&D efforts, an overview of the potential risks and rewards involved, several examples of actual cases, and finally how all of this could apply to many of SEMA's members.

Scholarship Available to Ohio Tech Students

Students at Ohio Technical College (OTC) may be able to win a scholarship for a one-year tuition, valued at up to $29,400. The scholarship is part of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Memorial Scholarship Fund (SMSF), which encourages and supports those pursuing careers in the automotive aftermarket.
