SEMA Networking & Town Hall Meeting: Tacoma, WA

Tacoma, WA was full of quality networking. Nearly 60 members/ non-members attended this event and had the opportunity to network with industry leaders and got the chance to discuss the industry during an open forum panel discussion. Some of the items discussed were:

Town Hall Meetings: See You There

    SEMA is on the move, and if you’re in the industry, you’ll want to know about it. The association’s presence this year at town hall meetings across the country is part of an important new strategic direction. Through the first six months of 2011, members of the SEMA staff will be visiting Scottsdale, Arizona, Fort Worth, Texas, and Charlotte, North Carolina, to join with local SEMA-member companies in hosting a series of relaxed, casual, grassroots gatherings of members. These town hall meetings will serve a number of purposes, including:

SEMA Town Hall Meeting in Ft. Worth, TX was a positive event with great networking and delicious BBQ. About 50 members/ non-members attended this event and had the opportunity to network with industry leaders, while having the chance to discuss the industry during an open forum panel discussion.

SEMA Town Hall Meeting in Scottsdale, AZ was a successful way to kick off the first of the SEMA Town Hall series. Around 120 members/ non-members attended this event and had the opportunity to network with industry leaders and got the chance to discuss the industry during an open forum discussion.

The SEMA Action Network (SAN) is a nationwide partnership between enthusiasts, vehicle clubs and members of the automotive specialty-equipment industry who have joined forces to promote hobby-friendly legislation and oppose unfair legislation.
