Rick Rollins began his two-year term as SEMA Chairman of the Board in August 2009. He is a 39-year industry veteran who has been a counterman, a buyer, a regional sales manager and a company owner. He also owned and drove Formula Ford and F2000 Formula racecars.

Currently, Rollins serves as president of Rollins Performance Marketing,LLC, in Deltona, FL where he provides business solutions for companies in the performance, accessory and specialty automotive industry. Previous experience includes more than 9 1/2 years as vice president of sales and marketing for Superchips Inc., of Sanford, FL the well-known manufacturer of electronic tuning products for late-model cars and light trucks.

He has also served vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Cable Products Inc. in Kansas City, MO, manufacturer of automotive wire, wiring harnesses and ignition wires and accessories for 12 1/2 years. It was during this time that Rollins became active in SEMA as well as the Performance Warehouse Association (PWA).

Over the years, Rollins has contributed his time and efforts to a wide array of SEMA committees and task forces. Rollins has more than 15 years of service on the SEMA board of directors. He has been an Executive Committee member for two years, on the Long Range Planning Committee for two years, and he also sat on the SEMA Show Committee and the Nominating Committee as well as the EDI and Technology task forces.

SEMA is governed by a Board of Directors who volunteer their time to lead and guide the association. A professional staff is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the programs and services.
