Congress Passes Bill Saving Johnson Valley OHV Recreation Area

SEMA praised the U.S. House of Representatives for passing the 2014 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) with a measure to protect off-highway vehicle (OHV) access to Johnson Valley, CA.  The Senate is scheduled to approve the bill on Dec. 19.  The vote will end a six-year clash over access to 189,000 acres of Southern California desert between the military and OHV users. The bill will then be signed into law by the President.

Employees of SEMA-members companies who are currently paying off students loans may be able to receive money through the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund's Loan Forgiveness Program.

SEMA Data Co-op Announces Free Data Exports for Members

SEMA members that are resellers or distributors can now obtain an unlimited number of product data exports from the SEMA Data Co-op (SDC) at absolutely no cost. The savings, available to any SEMA-member receiver in the SDC, totals $1,200 per year and is the newest incentive for members to join the SDC.

SEMA Members Host Product Training at 2013 PRI Show

SEMA's Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) and PRI will present “MPMC Education Day” at the 2013 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, Wednesday, December 11, 2013. The event takes place at the Indiana Convention Center the day before the PRI Trade Show floor opens.
