It’s that time of year for SEMA Hall of Fame nominations. As a SEMA member, you have the opportunity to nominate a person for the 2013 SEMA Hall of Fame.

The 2013 SEMA News rate card and editorial calendar are now available. SEMA News is the monthly magazine published by SEMA that reaches more than 18,000 key automotive specialty-equipment businesses.

Last August, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit dismissed a lawsuit that challenged the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) authority to permit the sale of 15% ethanol (E15) content in gasoline for ’01 and newer model-year cars and light trucks.

This week at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, many cars and trucks that could be important to SEMA-member retailers and manufacturers were debuted. Among those likely to be of interest to enthusiasts and the companies that serve them are the ’14 Corvette, ’14 Lexus IS and ’14 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Also shown was a “concept” version of what is thought to be Ford’s next F-Series pickup.

The WD-40/SEMA Cares Foose ’53 Ford F-100, which was unveiled at the 2012 SEMA Show, will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, Friday, January 18, at approximately 7:00 p.m.
