Bringing the Voice of Repair to the Table
STATEMENT OF CANDIDACY
I have spent 40 years in this industry — as a technician, shop owner, military veteran, OEM training partner, and industry educator. My father, a disabled veteran, taught me that repairing a vehicle equated to us packing someone's parachute. Every repair is a safety obligation, not a transaction. That principle has guided everything I do.
My goal as a SEMA board member is to help evolve the association into the definitive hub of the entire automotive ecosystem — where OEMs, repairers, technology providers, legislators, and other automotive stakeholders converge. I want SEMA to be the premier stage for ADAS innovation, OEM collaboration, and workforce development. Automotive breakthroughs are being announced at CES and SXSW. They should be happening at SEMA. I travel 300+ days a year, working at the grassroots level across collision repair, glass, towing, PDR, and ADAS. I collect the dots to connect the dots — and I am ready to bring that cross-industry perspective to the SEMA board on day one.

I'm running for the SEMA Board of Directors to help protect what built this industry while preparing it for what's next. The aftermarket is at a pivotal moment, and I believe SEMA must lead with focus and clarity. I'm focused on three priorities:
Preserve Automotive Culture - Keep the SEMA Show the global destination for automotive passion, support Leno's Law to protect classic vehicles, and defend consumer choice across ICE, hybrid, and EV platforms.
Protect Motorsports - Recognize racing as the foundation of innovation, support Right to Race efforts, protect access to public lands, and keep PRI at the center of the motorsports world.
Drive the Future Forward - Champion Right to Repair and Right to Modify, expand access to SEMA Garage resources for ADAS and EV integration, and ensure innovation remains accessible to companies of all sizes.
My connection to the automotive world began in the garage and grew into a career leading performance brands, motorsports programs, and new technology ventures. From learning about cars alongside my dad to now sharing that same passion with my own children, that hands-on foundation continues to shape my approach today.
Today I serve as Vice President of Brand and Strategy at MagnaFlow Group, where I lead corporate development, marketing, and innovation across a portfolio of aftermarket brands. I led the acquisition and growth of Camburg Engineering and co-founded Foose Performance and MagnaVolt to explore new opportunities across performance and emerging vehicle technologies.
Motorsports is where innovation proves itself, and I have led race programs that translate directly into real-world products and customer value.
I bring experience as an executive, co-founder, and board member, along with formal board education through the Stanford Directors' Consortium. I understand the needs of manufacturers, racers, builders, and the next generation of enthusiasts.
I'm proud to have the support of a broad coalition of racers, industry leaders, and automotive personalities, including Mario Andretti, Chip Foose, and Alex Parker. Join us in preserving automotive culture, protecting motorsports, and driving the future of the aftermarket.
I respectfully ask for your support and your vote.
