ORACLE Lighting has acquired LumaMedia International, a Las Vegas-based supplier of electroluminescent signage, which is a thin, flexible glowing panel that can be used in a variety of applications. 

Assets in the acquisition also include LumaMedia trademarks, logos, websites, URLs, digital assets and social media networks.

The company plans to increase its electroluminescent signage offerings following the acquisition, according to Justin Hartenstein, founder and director product development for ORACLE, and expand into new markets, such as illuminated vehicle wraps, commercial signage, marine applications and more.

AACF Announces Inaugural AACF Humanitarian Award

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF), an organization dedicated to supporting industry members and their families during times of need, has announced the AACF Humanitarian Award, sponsored by NEXUS North America.

The award aims to recognize and honor outstanding individuals, companies, associations or groups within the automotive aftermarket industry who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to improving the lives of others through humanitarian efforts. 

The AACF Humanitarian Award seeks to highlight those who embody compassion, selflessness and a profound sense of social responsibility. Nominees should have significantly contributed to positive change within their communities, whether locally, nationally or globally.

Nominations for the AACF Humanitarian Award will open in June. The deadline for nominations is February 1, 2025.
